Bloomington-based Loffler Cos. continues to expand through acquisitions. Last week it announced it will acquire the copier and printer service and supply division of Reardon Office Equipment in Moorhead, Minn. Reardon is a multi-generation family owned business that started in the 1960s. Loffler also is family owned and began in 1986.
Also within the last 12 months Loffler acquired Fargo, N.D.-based Minndak Computer Services, an IT consulting and computer design and repair firm; and Office Systems Co., a Sioux City, Iowa, copier, printer, multi-function printer, scanner and fax company that began in 1893.
In all situations, the company considers carefully a potential acquisition’s history and culture. It then deploys a 15-person transition team to assimilate the acquired business into its organization, according to the Fargo Forum, which has more about the Reardon sale.
Readon’s furniture division is being sold to Innovative Office Solutions of Burnsville.
