North Dakota Pursues Legislation to Increase Hemp Production

After the 2018 Farm Bill took hemp off the list of illegal controlled subjects last year, states became responsible for regulating its production.  A bill passed in the North Dakota legislature would recognize hemp and its derivatives as legitimate and is now pending a vote in the state senate, according to the Fargo Forum.
